Boil water order issued in Aledo | News

A water main break resulted in a boil water order issued for parts of Aledo, Illinois Thursday, December 20, 2012.

The water main break was reported just before 1 p.m. in the southeast part of the city.

City officials said residents could experience discolored water or reduced water pressure because of the break.

Repair crews were already working on the break.

A boil order was in effect until further notice along Southeast 12^th and Southwest 12^th streets between Southeast Fourth Avenue and Southwest Third Avenue.
