Local bank robberies likely not connected | Crime

MERCER COUNTY, Ill.--WRMJ reports that local authorities say there is likely no connection between the bank robberies in Sherrard and Viola, although there are similarities in the suspect vehicle.The suspect in the Sherrard robbery was described as a man wearing a black hoodie, a black hat, black gloves and dark-colored jeans. The suspect allegedly left the bank in a green or teal-colored vehicle.
